The lecture also highlights the services provided by Vet Centers, emphasizing their role in offering confidential readjustment counseling for combat veterans. Dr. Ford addresses the importance of confidentiality, the impact of combat on veterans' mental health, and various treatment approaches such as cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
